Children's First Aid Course
This course is great for the whole family, including grandparents.
We demonstrate what to do if your child is in an emergency situation.
There are no assessments associated with this course.
COURSE CONTENT
- CPR on baby and child with demonstration and practice time
- Choking - practical demonstration
- Asthma
- Anaphylactic shock - Epi-Pen demonstration
- Controlling bleeding, including nose bleeds
- Dealing with wounds, abrasions, ans scrapes
- Bites, stings and poisons
- Burns
- Exposure to heat and cold extremes
- Preventing accidents
- Open forum - discussion
- Handout on childhood development
